Snake Handling Courses
The Snake Handling Course has been running for some years now, and has proved to be highly successful and very popular, attracting a wide range of people from both home and overseas.
The course deals with snake awareness, identification and safe and correct handling of both non-venomous and venomous snakes. The course also includes emergency first aid procedures.
The course is held over two days, Saturday and Sunday, and is held at a Cape Town venue. This course can also be booked at your own venue (minimum of 10 people) at a time to suit your requirements. A certificate is awarded to successful participants.

Directions to Venue:
From the N1, take the R300 off-ramp, direction Mitchells Plain, and carry on until you get to the M54 Hindle Road off-ramp (last off-ramp before N2). Turn left on the bridge and right at the traffic lights at the Engen Garage. Carry on with this road until you get to a security gate, drive through and turn right, and then first left again. Continue to the end at the Driftsands Environmental Centre.
From the N2, take the R300 off-ramp, direction Kuils River, and take the M54 Hindle Road off-ramp (first off-ramp). Turn right on the bridge and right at the traffic lights at the Engen Garage. Carry on with this road until you get to a security gate, drive through and turn right, and then first left again and continue to the end at the Driftsands Environmental Centre.
SNAKE HANDLING COURSES
We are the only Western Cape based FGASA endorsed Snake Handling course. We have been operating since 2003 and we have trained close to 30 000 students in the Western Cape.
